Manny & Lou Plbg. was established in 1983 by Manuel Fuentes Sr. and Louis Kelley Jr as Manny & Lou Joint Venture Inc. Having met each other in the plumber’s local union #519 in the late sixties, they established a relationship back then that would become the foundation of the company in the eighties. Manny & Lou Joint Venture Inc started as an African American owned company that would cater to the smaller government funded jobs that had a fair and good percentage of monies that had to comply with disadvantaged business. Their success in the early eighties prompted them to change the company name to Manny & Lou Plbg. Inc. in the summer of 1985.

Manny & Lou Plbg. had become an established and premier plumbing contractor in South Florida during its tenure and quickly demonstrated its commitment to quality and providing the best service to its clients. Not only did the firm provided plumbing work in the residential and commercial field, they expanded their operations to industrial work as required in hospitals and water treatment plants.

In the 2000’s, the firm expanded their operations again to add the water & sewer division as well as storm and site work. Today, the company is run by Manuel Fuentes J. who is very involved in all aspects of the company. Manuel Fuentes Sr. is still involved with the estimating department providing the firm with the experience that made the company what it is today.
